St. Patrick's Day, Part II: The lake

After the girls woke up from their nap they were ready to get some energy out, so we saved the rainbow paintings for another day and decided to go to our community lake behind our apartment building. There's usually duckies, some big birds flying around and sometimes we see fish jumping out of the water. Nothing too exciting but for my kids it's like a miniature adventure in their own backyard.

My sister Christina came over and went swimming with Logan while the twins were sleeping and I cleaned the kitchen-those darn dishes won't do themselves!

Logan said " Aubrey NO! A Alligator will EAT YOU!" His dear Aunt Michelle told him that one time when he was two and he has never forgotten that. That's not exactly what I would've told him, but hey...it works!

It was a beautiful afternoon and I'm so blessed to have spent it with my children and my sister's.
