This morning I promised Logan I would make pancakes and as soon as he woke up he asked me where the pancakes were lol. So as my coffee brewed and after diaper changes and cartoons were turned on, I mixed up some Hungry jack pancakes, made some turkey sausage, scrambled up spme eggs and sliced up some apples. I was trying to take a picture of our breakfast but my camera died before I could get a good one in. And the kids were not willing to wait so I could replace my bateries LOL. Logan told me I was the best pancake maker ever, I love my sweet boy!
After breakfast we had a lazy morning, but once the afternnon rolled around we skipped naptime (well the girls did..if only I could nap!) and headed out to the park for my friend's son birthday. The birthday party was at Walsingham park and we had such a good time! Walsingham is a beautiful park and I decided today that we should go more often. I feel lucky to have so many beautiful parks in out area. As soon as we pulled up Logan and Olivia made a beeline for the bouncy house and Aubrey held my hand tightly. She was very suspicous because she didn't recoginize anyone but once she realized they had cheetos all was ok. She was so cute before we left our house, she had to put on her pearl necklace, bracelet and sunglasses.
While we were at the birthday party my kids decided they needed to play at the playground. As I was standing there talking Sonia I noticed a man standing behind her and I was like "No way!" We ran into a old friend from highschool whom we havn't seen in seven years. We chatted for awhile and wished him and his wife good luck on their first child to be. I gathered up the kids in the car and promptly handed out lollipops, there was no avoiding it they had already eyed the goody bags. I would of had three major meltdowns, especially seeing how the girls had skipped their naps. On the way home Olivia fell asleep holding her lollipop, it was so cute I just had to take a picture.
As soon as we arrived home I unbuckled her and it only took her two seconds to realize I had chucked her lolipop. She started to cry "My pop mommy, my pop!! My little mommy heart caved and gave her another one.
As Logan would say today was a "Blast"! Even with lollipop meltdowns.
