Pirate's & Horse's

Picture this. The sun is bright, the clay is crunchy beneath your shoes, the bright green grass is wet and the smell of french fries is making your stomach wish you had eaten something more then a little bag of on-the-go Almonds. Then...a shriek.

"COACH HEATHER! She took my bat!" And then you hear a thousand voices that need you, 7 four year olds running around chasing each, sword fighting with their bats (what a lovely sound) parents looking for their children's gloves, the opposite teams coach asking when were going to start and your can hear in the very distant backround through a crowd of people including family and friends that have gathered to see their little loved ones play...your twin two year olds screaming over who's gatorade it is.

This is a typical Saturday morning for my family. We get up, eat our breakfast and rush out the door to the T-ball field. I love every minute of it. Being a coach to these awesome little people is a joy within itself but the pride I feel watching my son listen and then actually hit that little ball off the T-ball stand is a awesome feeling! I'm one proud Coach Mommy!

After our T-ball game we went home to relax for the rest of the day, Sunday was going to a long day!

The girls went to the beach with my mom, sister and cousin. It was nice because that left Logan and I to attend Church together. Here's a picture of us right before we left for Church.

After church Logan and I ran some errands and then after the girls woke up from their much needed naps we headed to a Pirate themed birthday party! They had a big pirate ship bouncy house, a sand box and lots of fun goodies. Logan was a pirate for Halloween so he was able to wear his costume again (don't you love getting your money's worth on costumes?!)

After a fun filled afternoon of running around barefoot in our friends backyard, we headed to my mom's house for my sister's birthday celebration. My mom made corn beef, cabbage, potato's and carrots. Dinner was delicous and time with family is always wonderful and at times much needed. There is nothing like Sunday dinner at mom and dad's house. The girls and Logan still had ton's of energy to spend and ran around the backyard, blowing their party horns and having fun with all their aunt's, uncles, friends and grandparents.

After our busy day we all fell asleep quickly and soundly. Especially me-mommy needs her rest to keep up with these adventerous kids! As I drifted off A smile was on my face.....I love being a Mom.
