Splash Park April 14th

The Splash Park at the Kiwanis Spraygrounds is one of our favorite places to visit-it's the perfect combination of playing in the water without having to worry about our kids drowning and it's fenced in-so no kids can escape! It's basically a playground with water spraying everywere and the perfect way to cool down on a hot Florida day. This was Scott's first time going with us and it was so much fun to do as a family! Scott put his trunks on and dove into the play area with the kids-they loved having him there!

This is one of Logan's favorite places-he's a water baby and loves the beach and pool as well. He never wants to leave!

Olivia loved the splash park as well! We havn't been since last summer so it was fun to see the girls get excited like it was their first time all over again.

These next set of pictures are just some pictures of the Splash Park itself for those of you that are curious about what a Splash park may be or look like. Basically it's a playground with water spraying everywhere. They have areas for smaller kids, areas where water dumps all over you, a water slide in the middle of the play area and even fun, giant squirt guns!

These are just a few pictures that I took so everyone can get an idea of what it looks like and all the fun you can have there! The spraygrounds are located in Dunedin, FL., they have picnic areas if you want to eat your lunch there, a dry playground and bathrooms. Doesn't get much better then that :)

Aubrey is not really a fan of the water dumping part at the spraygrounds-she perfers staying to the edge and just getting her feet wet-Daddy decided she needed to be dunked-don't worry she was laughing two minutes later :)

We had a yummy picnic lunch afterwards-ham & cheese for Scott, PB&J for the kids and some pita w/hummus for mommy (Scott made it fresh the night before!) We had almonds and fresh picked oragnes too.

All in all it was wonderful day and we cannot wait to go back again soon!
